In today’s modded PS4 tutorial, I will show you how to enable Blu-ray disc movie playback offline, no internet required. If you try to do it the traditional way, the PS4 will prompt you to connect online, and we want to avoid that risk as we want to stay as low as possible from a firmware standpoint. I did this method on my 5.05 PS4, but I expect the process to be similar for earlier firmwares. Enjoy!
Note: Any reference to CFW and the PS4 is a semantic mistake. I am not running a pure CFW, instead it is a userland exploit that is performed on official Sony OFW. Just wanted to point that out in case some viewer wanted to get technical. 🙂
Note #2: I don’t know why people keep on saying this is online video, it isn’t. See my pin comment. I can certainly make a follow up video clearly showing this PS4 is not online and how I was able to enable blu ray activation.
